Description:
Introduction to the development of energy production projects. Economic data. Static and dynamic economic criteria. Preparation of feasibility study for the production of electric energy by renewable energy sources. Calculation of economic parameters and decision-making for sustainability or not of the investment. Determination of the site characteristics and technical characteristics of the facility. Analysis of the initial installation cost and calculation of the annual operation cost. Calculation of the annual production of electric energy. Application to the case of wind-powered systems, photovoltaic systems and small hydroelectric plants.

Required material:
Students must have attended the corresponding undergraduate course of the EE department, offered during the winter semester, or equivalent course of a different department.
